Siddheshvari Devi Ji (Didi Ji) was born in northern India. Even as a little girl, she derived great happiness while visiting places of worship. Didi Ji’s formative years were spent in Canada, where even as a teenager, she contemplated upon the purpose of life and the phenomenon of death. Convinced that life has a much higher purpose than merely eating, sleeping and accumulating wealth, Didi Ji was not attracted in the least by the promise of a financially rewarding career.
Didi Ji graduated from York University in Toronto with an Honors degree in Linguistics. After graduation, Didi Ji’s spiritual quest led her to Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Didi Ji made a pilgrimage to India, where she spent two years in Bhakti Dham Ashram and studied the intricate mysteries of the Vedas and other scriptures under the direct tutelage of Shri Maharaj Ji Himself. Shri Maharaj Ji had declared during her very first visit that He would grant her the service of preaching His message to the West.
Didi Ji began performing this service in 1987.
